BOK Leaders

a

LEADERS

LEADERSHIP IS COMMITMENT

Commitment = Cultivation
There’s a passion here for architecture and interior architecture, to be sure. But there’s also a real commitment to all the moving pieces, and especially the people coming to work every day who make the firm a success. Just as the industry itself continues to grow and evolve with new materials, processes and even philosophies, the firm’s growth depends on the attention paid to developing the careers of the people who will eventually step up into leadership positions. And still, it’s not just about growing the firm, but the pleasure Komal Borad and Kajal Babaria take in watching their team mature into their professions. That’s what makes Komal and Kajal exceptional leaders.

LEADERSHIP TRANSLATE VISION INTO REALITY

Komal N. Borad (B.Arch)
Komal, a founding principal of BOK Architect, graduated from the APIED (Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design, Vallabh Vidya Nagar, Gujarat, India.) Then, off to the USA for ten years for a precise and smart growth with her firm. It was that research that led her to India, and (together with Kajal Babria) the founding of our firm.
Komal’s ability to analyze and quickly conceptualize a design that responds to the needs, budget and aesthetics of each individual client has led the firm into many diverse project types from homes, temples, warehouses, hospitals, jails, schools, corporate office, hotels, residential and more. This diversity of experience has allowed the BOK to specialize in major mixed-use projects around the country and internationally. Her commitment to design excellence, and above all sustainable and ecologically sound architecture, has attained much recognition over the years.
She is…. She has been featured as a workaholic, focused and headstrong designer by her clients and team. If she is not glued to the sketching or designing or solving problems her favorite pastime is listening and reading the spiritual science of Dada Bhagwan.
